White shoes you’ll want to wear even after Labor Day.
If you know me, or follow me on Pinterest.. then you know that I have a mild obsession with the color white. I’ve never been one to stray from wearing white after Labor Day, because that’s just a faux pa. It’s everything from my color of choice to decorate with, the easiest neutral to match or have as a base for your color scheme, the easiest pop for your all black outfit, and the epitome of clean freaks dreams.
Those who say white is hard to keep clean haven’t been properly prepared for the investment that is white.. anything. It’s not the hardest thing, but it takes commitment, and it’s so worth it.
So I’ve compiled a list of all my faves that are the swoon worthy shoes of your dreams.
1) Steve Madden Mid-Calf Booties.
Why I love them:
– Mid-calf boots have the magic ability to make your legs look even longer.
– The statement white on white with these shoes create a seamless look that I just adore.
– That chunky heel is my go-to heel of choice. It’s not only comfortable, but also super easy to walk around town long after dinner’s over.
– Steve Madden is a genius, need I say more?
2) Steve Madden Sneaks.
Why I love them:
– My favorite staple, and probably my most worn are white sneakers.
– One of the most versatile statement pieces to own is a good pair of sneaks to wear with.. everything.
– The additional detail of the exterior laces and the almost hi-top.
3) Dolce Vita Mules.
Why I love them:
– I love a good slide. I tend to lean more towards leather when buying them because they don’t slide nearly as much.
– The color, obvi.
– And lastly, that little baby heel. I love that the 90s heel is coming back, and these have just the right height. It adds the perfect chicness to this otherwise staple shoe.
4) Studded Heeled Booties.
Why I love them:
– I mean when you find the perfect date night shoe, does it really need an explanation?
No, really, I bought these just for my Valentine’s date with R, and I can’t wait to show them off.
If I could buy all the white shoes, I would, even though R would aggressively disagree with that notion. Until then, I’ll keep collecting little by little and eventually R will understand. Right?
